26 Considered the central landmark of the Hamline University campus, University Hall (Old Main) is listed in the National Register of Historical Places. Fire destroyed the original University Hall in 1883, but in 1884, the current University Hall was dedicated debt-free. The three-story high structure cost $50,000 to build.
Today Old Main houses the President's Office, the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs Office, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts Office, Graduate Schools Admission Office, Human Resources, the Student Affairs Office, University Relations, and the business and finance offices.
