Sometimes, when you are in the Discussion Board, you can not see the area to type. It probably looks like this (video of the problem)

This happens specially in computer using Windows Vista as operating System.

The usual fix is changing the Visual Text Box Editor .

Here it is a video tutorial on how to do it. You can also follow these intructions:

After you login, click the "Personal Information" link under the "Tools" menu on the left side of the screen

Then click the "Set Visual Text Box Editor Options":

Then click the "Unavailable" radio button. Finally, click the "Submit" button
