Parents Council

Did you know that every parent is automatically a member of the Hamline University Parents Council?  The Parents Council is a representative group of the Parents Association and acts as a liaison between the University and the parents.  The Parents Council meets 2 times each semester and offers programs for parents to learn about campus life and student issues.  The year concludes with a President’s Reception.

The Council promotes interest and knowledge in both the academic and co-curricular facets of Hamline University.  Programs have included Study Abroad, Campus Life, Faculty views on grades, and anything parents need to know about Hamline University and the services and programs offered to students.

Parents Council Leaders

These individuals may also be a resource and support to you.  They are the direct line between Parents Council and the University.  You'll meet many of them during the Parent and Family Orientation of the New Student Days, and throughout the year at Parents Council activities (see Calendar).
