GSLO Health&Wellness Fair

THE TIME BIND: Finding Balance in a Busy Life

Presented by: Julie Neraas, professor, ordained minister, and spiritual director.

Hamline graduate students are invited to hear guest speaker, Julie Neraas, talk about balancing life, work, and school. During the fair, there will also be a registered dietician, massage therapist, homeopath, blood pressure administration and flu shots (for students only for small fee, Free with Hamline student insurance). Lunch will be served, Giveaways, Drawings. While this event is geared towards graduate students, both faculty and staff are also welcome. The Fair is Free of charge and takes place on Saturday, October 27, 2007, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Location: Law/Graduate Building Conference Room #106. Graduate Student Writing Workshop:

"Writing the Academic Paper in Graduate/Professional School"

When: Saturday, November 10, 2007

Time: 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

Location: Law/Grad (LGS) Conference Rm #106

This workshop will cover the basics of writing academic essays in graduate school. Jules Thompson, Director of the CLA Writing Center, will facilitate the workshop.  Enrollment is limited to the first 60 participants.

 

RSVP by Thursday, November 8, 2007 by e-mailing both Jules Thompson and Mildred Bynum, Graduate Student Life Coordinator.

 

Enrollment is limited to Hamline graduate/professional students, and the workshop is Free of Charge.
