Online Registration Guide

Online registration through the secure Piperline system is required for all School of Business MBA students.  You will need your Hamline ID number and Piperline PIN to log in.

How to Block Register for MBA modules:

GO directly to Piperline

• Click Login to Secure Area to log onto Piperline.
• Click Student Services from the Welcome page menu.
• Click Registration from the Student Services page menu.
• Click Look-Up Classes to Add from the Registration page menu.  
• Select the appropriate term of registration from the Search by Term drop-down menu and click Submit. 
• Select your MBA Cohort code (e.g. M7, S8, etc.) from the Block drop-down menu near the bottom of the Look-up Classes to Add page and click Class/Block Search.
• A list of the 5 courses in your MBA module for that term of registration will display.  Click Submit Registration to complete your registration.

How to Register for MBA electives:

1. Find course numbers for the courses you want:
   1. browse School of Business Class Listings or;
   2. search the Piperline Class Schedule.
      
      
2. Using your Hamline ID and Piperline PIN, log in to the secure area in
    
   
   
3. Select Student Services/Registration/Register-Drop-Add Courses and choose the appropriate term.
   
   
4. Enter the CRNs for each of your courses and select Submit.
   
   
5. Select Student Detail Schedule to verify your registration. 
   

• Closed/Full Courses
  If you would like to take a course that is full in Piperline please contact the School of Business office at 651-523-2284 or gsm@hamline.edu for registration options.

   Special Registrations
  Direted study work (e.g.: Independent and Individual Studies require special registration forms and signatures. Online registration is not available.

  • Print Independent/Individualized Study forms from the Download Forms page.
  • Other Special Registration forms can be downloaded from the School of Business web page.
