The following gift societies honor donors who recognize that sustained and substantial support is one of the chief cornerstones upon which Hamline's quality is built. By making their giving to Hamline a priority, our donors are a major factor in achieving our goals and ensuring excellence.
Gifts to any designation count for membership—whether to one of the annual funds, to the endowment, or to capital investments such as buildings, gardens or technology.
Charles M. Drew Society
The Charles M. Drew Society honors those who have supported Hamline University with cumulative gifts of $100,000 or more.
Red Wing Society
The Red Wing Society honors those who have supported Hamline with cumulative lifetime gifts of $25,000 - $99,999.
Heritage Society
The Heritage Society recognizes those who have included Hamline in their estate plan through trusts, annuities, bequests, life insurance plans, retirement plans, etc.
Bishop Hamline Society
The Bishop Hamline Society honors those who have ensured Hamline's future by creating an individually named endowment.
1854 Circle of Donors
The 1854 Circle of Donors honors those who contribute an unrestricted gift of at least $1,854. Members of the 1854 Circle of Donors are members of The Presidents Circle.
President's Circle
The President's Circle honors those who contribute any gift of at least $1,000.
Membership in one or more of the above societies entitles members to:
> invitations to special events on campus including the President’s Dinner
> recognition in Hamline’s annual report of gifts
> advanced information about news and events at Hamline
Annual Members Annual Members support Hamline each year with gifts of $1,000 or more.
