Critique
promotes an academic and critical examination of the history and contemporary political, social, economic, and cultural aspects of  Middle Eastern countries. Critique actively engages theoretical and empirical studies, and by so doing promotes a critical understanding of the complex nature of ideas, values, social configurations, and material realities of Middle Eastern societies. Critique provides a forum for the inter-disciplinary examination of diverse issues based on solid research and critical readings of development in the Middle East.
Critique (ISSN 1066-9922) is published tri-annually (spring, summer, fall) and is indexed by Alternative Press Index, Sociological Abstracts, and MLA International Bibliography. Annual subscription rates (three issues): personal $94 (£62), libraries and institutions $348 (£212). For more information contact Taylor & Francis at www.tandf.co.uk/journals.
