Special Admission
The Hamline University Graduate School of Management offers Special Admission for qualified master-level applicants who do not wish to be degree candidates or who would like to "try out" our classes for Public Administration and Nonprofit Management programs. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program's special status application is reserved for prerequisite course work only.
A Special Admission applicant must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Special Admission applicants complete an abbreviated online application form and submit an undergraduate official transcript (sent directly from the institution). There is no application fee for Special Admission online applications.
Special Admission students are expected to participate fully in all classes. Courses taken under Special Admission status may later be applied toward degree requirements, provided that satisfactory grades are achieved. A student may take up to three courses under Special Admission status.
Special Admission status is not an option for international applicants.
