Governance and Planning in Nonprofit Organizations

This course introduces the governance process in nonprofit organizations, including the composition, roles, and responsibilities of governing boards; the relationship between boards and staff; and the role of governing boards in planning. It examines strategies for analysis and intervention when governance structures are not serving organizational needs.
