The Graduate School of Management
The Hamline University Graduate School of Management has been preparing students to effectively manage since 1985. At that time, Hamline University began offering a Master in Public Administration (MAPA) to better prepare government employees to serve the public good. By 1998, Hamline University’s commitment to service and values led the institution to expand the MAPA program to also include a Certificate in Advanced Public Administration (CAPA) and a Doctorate in Public Administration (DPA) to help students achieve greater scholarship and service.
The Hamline University Graduate School of Management expanded its offerings to include management theory and practice in the business and nonprofit sectors through the introduction of a Master in Management (MAM) and Master in Nonprofit Management (MANM) in 1999.
Starting in Fall 2003, we began offering accelerated master programs (cohort model) in Public Administration, Management, and Nonprofit Management at the Hamline University Minneapolis Center.
When you leave Hamline University and apply your knowledge in a public agency, company or nonprofit organization, you leave well grounded in the passion for service, leadership and excellence that has distinguished the Hamline University Graduate School of Management.
