
Waters to the Sea is a series of internationally acclaimed interactive learning programs on North America's waterways for grades four through eight.
Each installment in the series provides an engaging, in-depth exploration of a different watershed area. Regional images, music, historical characters, and events bring to life the story of how human activities past and present have depended upon and impacted water resources. Each program includes extensive use of video, animation, dynamic maps, simulations, and game-style interactives that make learning fun and assist educators in meeting state education standards.
Winner of the top award for interactive media at Bristol, England's Wildscreen Festival--the world's largest and most prestigious environmental media festival--Waters to the Sea programs have been developed for the Upper Mississippi River and Georgia's Chattahoochee River and are in development for Texas' Trinity River, and for Southern California.
A demo version of the Waters to the Sea: Discovering Alabama, which is being developed in partnership with the Alabama Clean Water Partnership and the University of Alabama's Discovering Alabama public television series, is now available for preview online:
