"Chopin the Storyteller" Concert
November 24, 2009 at 7:30 pm in Sundin Music Hall. Keyboard Conversations with Jeffrey Siegel: Epic poems and short stories in tone. What may have inspired Chopin's musical narratives? How does a composer "tell" stories without words? The program includes Ballades of Chopin, Novelettes of Robert Schumann (whose 200th birthday is also celebrated this season), and music by Johannes Brahms.
