Studying abroad is an exciting and enriching academic opportunity. It provides learning experiences that cannot be duplicated on the Hamline campus. Through an overseas experience, students expand their personal, social, and intellectual horizons. They immerse themselves in the culture, language, and way of life in a setting different than their own and learn to communicate and obtain information and ideas in languages and cultural contexts which are new to them.
We strongly encourage students to study abroad, and we even offer some first year seminar classes abroad! In addition, Hamline offers full semester, summer, yearlong, and January term study abroad opportunities.
