It is the leadership of dedicated, educated citizens that produces effective government.
The Master in Public Administration degree is designed for working professionals interested in the dynamics of the public sector. Many of our students are already actively engaged in public service at the state and local government levels. The Master in Public Administration program provides the knowledge and tools they need to enhance their careers, as both managers of public employees and administrators meeting the fiduciary responsibilities of expending tax dollars. Program Options The program offers two options to accommodate your schedule as a working professional.
Traditional Model Enrolling in the traditional model on the Saint Paul campus allows you the flexibility to complete the program as either a full- or part-time student. Take twelve 4-credit courses in 14-week terms, and complete the program in 2-4 years.
Cohort Model The cohort program, offered at the Minneapolis location, offers you the opportunity to develop lasting professional connections with your peers. Complete twelve 4-credit courses in 8-week terms over 2 years.
