Hamline's College of Liberal Arts has steadily built its national reputation with an innovative curriculum and excellent, dedicated faculty.

  • Degrees offered: bachelor of arts in 33 major areas of study, bachelor of science in 5 areas of study. Post-baccalaureate, certificate, and licensure programs also available.
  • Ranked ninth out of 142 Midwest comprehensive universities by U.S.News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges" in 2008. 
  • Student-faculty ratio is 14:1.
  • Fall 2008 enrollment: 1,957 undergraduate degree-seeking students from 35 states and 44 countries
  • 20 percent of students come from the top 10 percent of their high school classes; 49 percent come from the top 25 percent.
  • 2008-2009 Tuition: $27,620. Room and board (double occupancy): $7,784.
  • The average first year student financial aid package in 2007-2008 was $21,032.
